Director Operations

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Managing Day to day production operations, supply chain & logistics, regulatory & legal
Compliances and technical & infrastructure maintenance.
2. Leading evolution of manufacturing & quality systems via automations and tech solutions.
3. Responsible for controlling, costing and operation efficiency.
4. Responsible for all 6M (man, machine, material, method, measurements & mother-earth)
factors of production operations.
5. Supervising Supply Chain – Sourcing, costing, negotiations, and optimizing logistics.
6. Supervising Tech Support-Customer Support, Tender Support via respective people
7. People Leadership, Coaching and succession planning with the help of HR.
8. Ensure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and
process capabilities, establishing standards, confirming manufacturing processes.
9. Ensure the SOP, QC frameworks, Risk Control Assessments, Risk registers, Key Risk Indicators are
all up to date and followed.
10. Ensure that Compliance Operations is audit ready at any point of time.
11. Lead and continuously upgrade to state-of-the-art system Automation.
12. Providing leadership for the successful day to day operation of plants.
13. Developing strategies & policies to remove waste and constraints from production process to
improve efficiency & productivity.
14. Material Requirement planning i.e., coordinating with Production Planning & Procurement
for the smooth operation of the plant.
15. Leading various plants through a team of managers.
16. Coaching subordinates. Succession Planning. And regular training of associates in plant.

3. Candidate must have forecasting and measuring skills.
4. One must have leadership skills and emotional intelligence.
5. Effective communication techniques with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
6. Defining key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking metrics to measure product success, and
making data-driven decisions.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. 8-10 years of experience in Medical Device or Pharma Manufacturing operations.
2. Bachelor’s degree from Tier 1 College or IIT would be preferred.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent English communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Willingness to travel if required or need may arise.
