TrueHb got ISO certification on February 2, 2014. ISO 13485:2003 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and related services.
TrueHb got CE certification on January 18, 2014. The CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.
TrueHb completed clinical trials at All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS). AIIMS is the premier medical Institute of India.
Ambar developed patent pending technology in hemoglobinometry which not only resolves an age old problem of specificity, but also provides a handy and convenient tool for measuring hemoglobin level in blood at the point of care. He was awarded MIT TR35 award which recognises the world's top 35 innovators under the age of 35.
TrueHb got TDB (Technology Development Board) funding which was constitued by the Government of India in September 1996 as per the provisions of the Technology Development Board Act, 1995. The Act enables creation of a Fund for Technology Development and Application to be administered by TDB. The funding helped in the further development of the product and proved to be very useful for TrueHb.
On May 24, 2012 the company was incubated at IIT Delhi's Technology Business Incubation Unit for the purpose of development and validation of TrueHb.
On December 4, 2011 our company got undisclosed angel investment which set the pace for further developments in the product. This accelerated the rate of progress and helped in the final shaping up of the product.
